Pod celebrates the best of local brilliance and the delicious power of the pea whilst protecting our planet.
Why peas? Peas are delicious and great for the planet.
The geeky bit? Our perfectly imperfect peas are 'nitrogen fixers' which rejuvenate the soil, helping future crops thrive. With a focus on their Three P's - People, Purpose, Planet - Pod embodies the Ten Locks ethos of striving for positive change and has been carefully considered to be here for a good time and a long time.
Greatness can be found close to home so Pod sources what they can locally and sustainably, including the bottle it's poured from. Pod is fermented and distilled in our homeland, Manchester, in a bespoke copper still. The still is steam heated which means lower CO² emissions are released, and it also uses less energy. Pod has been considerately crafted to be here for a good time and a long time.
Aroma:
Fresh, green & grassy with notes of sweet sugar snap pea and savoury tones.
Taste:
A pop of fresh sweet pea chased by a burst of citrus and a bite of savoury green garden pea.

Ingredients:
50ml Pod, premium soda.
The Marti-Pea
Ingredients:
60ml Pod, 10ml Cucielo Dry Vermouth di Torino.
Bloody Mary
Ingredients:
100ml Pod, 500ml tomato juice, 1tbsp lemon juice, Worcester sauce, Tobacco sauce, black pepper.

Take our bottle for example, it’s made from glass using sand from the beaches of Norfolk, glass that goes through limited process and therefore limited waste. That’s why the Pod bottle has it’s own unique colour – like the pea, it’s perfectly imperfect.
